2007 Convention

It is that time of year again and your presence is cordially requested at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott in Norfolk, VA on March 23rd and 24th for the annual VNPA Convention. Make your reservations by contacting the Norfolk Waterside Marriott at (757) 627•4200. Let them know you are attending the VPA/VNPA convention for special rates. VNPA convention: $30 Luncheon: $18 per person Annual Dues: $20 Contest: $25 (must be included with entry by Feb. 23, 2004) Remember to get your contest images and entry fee of $25 to contest chairman P. Kevin Morley. All entries are to be in digital format and on CD or ZIP disk. If you have questions about the contest, please contact kmorley@timesdispatch.com. As always, the contest judging is open to the public and is a great opportunity to see the work of your peers.

Convention Schedule

Friday, March 23 - Judging all day and night starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 24 - Speakers start at 9 a.m. continue after lunch with last speaker at 2 p.m.

We depend on volunteers to actually run the contest. That's where contest chairman P. Kevin Morley, of the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Robert Martin, of the Free Lance-Star come in. Their dedication carries through the entire year. They spend hours and days organizing the contest entries. Without them, the contest would simply not happen.
