| The annual membership dues of $20.00 allows photographers to enter the state quarterly clip contest, receive the annual VNPA pictures of the year book and receive the VNPA quarterly newsletter. Being a VNPA member also allows Virginia photojournalists to enter the annual contest which determines the Virginia News Photographer of the Year.
